Poetry Now strives to publish books for the pleasure of a wide readership, not for intellectual snobbery or politically correct reasons. Poetry Now aims to give poets a chance to see their poetry in print and to provide quality anthologies which are highly readable and widely accepted. Poetry Now attracts a wide audience from all different backgrounds. Since the first publication in 1989, Poetry Now has published new poets and well-known figures in the modern world of poetry, such as Carol-Ann Duffy and Wendy Cope. The poetry published covers a wide spectrum and is relevant to people's lives and to their everyday experiences.
